Physician - Hospitalist - Taylor, Trenton, Wayne

• Due to growing volumes and expansion, the departments of Internal Medicine at Corewell Health Taylor, Trenton, and Wayne Hospitals have several full-time opportunities for Hospitalists.
• This position will consist of varying shifts.
• The hospitalist is responsible for provision of direct care to hospitalized adult medical patients.
• The hospitalist also provides consultations in internal medicine for surgical and other subspecialty patients.
• This care is delivered in close coordination with nursing staff, care managers, and other physicians and hospital departments.
• The hospitalist must ensure high quality, effective patient care, timely hospital discharges, and excellent communication with PCPs, patients and families, and other healthcare personnel.
• The hospitalist will obtain proper consultations as needed and will coordinate the care of patients from admission through discharge including all transitions of care.

Qualifications

BC/BE in Internal Medicine, may also have subspecialty training.
