Requires a Medical Assistant Certification and knowledge of professional nursing theory and safety precautions. Must be able to maintain accurate records and establish effective working relationships with staff and patients.

Position Qualifications Education: Medical Assistant Certification required Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes Requires knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care; medical equipment and instruments used to provide patient care; and common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Requires skill to identify problems and recommend solutions; prepare and maintain accurate records; develop and maintain quality assurance; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, office staff, and the public.
