Develop and monitor behavior support plans and functional behavior assessments for adults in structured day programs. Provide direct clinical support to staff to ensure effective implementation of strategies and improve individual outcomes.
Requires a Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, or a related field and either BCBA certification or a qualifying independent California license. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and, for the licensing track, at least 2 years of experience in behavior intervention.
What You’ll Do Developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Providing direct clinical support within day programs to ensure strategies are practical and effective Partnering with program staff to support consistent implementation of behavior supports Reviewing data, monitoring progress, and making adjustments to improve outcomes Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including families and external partners as needed Supporting staff during complex or escalated behavioral situations Promoting independence, inclusion, and quality of life in community-based settings Ensuring services are aligned with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards What to Expect In This Role This is not a remote position and requires regular on-site presence in day programs You will be working directly with staff and individuals in a hands-on environment The role is focused on clinical support and collaboration, not supervision or staff management If you are looking for a stable weekday schedule, meaningful clinical work with adults, building relationships with staff, seeing real progress over time, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive organization, this role offers that balance.
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst who meets one of the following credentialing pathways: Option 1: BCBA Track Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB Option 2: Licensing Track Current Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or other qualifying California licensure (must be independent license) Completion of at least 12 units of ABA coursework Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and implementing behavior intervention services General Requirements (all candidates): Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related clinical field Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high clinical standards Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
