The PMHNP is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness through medication management and psychotherapy. They work collaboratively with the Medical Director to develop treatment plans and provide community outreach and education.
Candidates must be a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a current APRN license and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP
Position Overview Overall responsibilities include assessment and treatment of mental illness through a combination of evaluations and medication management. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice. This is an in-person position at the Alleviant North Little Rock, AR clinic.
Job Context Facility work hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm; however, individual schedules may vary. Individual responsibilities are mostly limited to providing clients outstanding, satisfactory services. Additionally, contributing to the corporate culture and activities are expected. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging, and teamwork oriented.
