• Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Practice - Florida - Parkland Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) with hands‑on experience in pediatric care to join our practice on a part‑time basis.

• This role supports physicians, families, and young patients while ensuring a safe, efficient, and supportive clinical environment.
• Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with clinical guidelines and practice standards.
• Perform pediatric assessments, including vital signs, growth measurements, developmental observations, and symptom evaluation.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Assist with pediatric procedures, testing, and in‑office diagnostics.
• Educate parents and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, follow‑up care, and preventive health practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Support triage activities, including answering parent inquiries and assessing urgency of care needs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and child‑friendly clinical environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Uphold all HIPAA, infection control, and pediatric safety protocols.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience in a clinic, hospital, or private practice setting. Strong understanding of pediatric growth, development, and common childhood conditions. Experience administering pediatric immunizations and managing vaccine schedules. Excellent communication skills with both children and parents. Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in fast‑paced or emotionally sensitive situations. Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation. CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred). Availability for part‑time hours with potential flexibility based on practice needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a pediatric primary care or specialty practice. Bilingual abilities (a plus, depending on patient population). Familiarity with pediatric triage protocols.
