Responsible for triaging patient phone calls and walk-ins to determine the best course of action based on provider input. Manages prescriptions, prior authorizations, lab orders, and provides clinical support such as injections and biopsies.
Requires at least 5 years of Medical Assistant experience. Preference is given to graduates of accredited MA programs with certifications and specific experience in Endocrinology or Diabetes triage.
