The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing ambulatory health care, including recording patient histories, obtaining vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests. They also manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, referral follow-ups, and maintaining medical supply inventories.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED and a vocational degree in Medical Assisting or a related field. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required, and at least one year of clinic experience is preferred.
Responsible for receiving patients, determines their needs and directs them accordingly. Performs optimal ambulatory health care to patients; stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurse’s stations.
High School Diploma/GED required, Vocational/Technical degree as Medical Assistant or Related field required.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required. CPR preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year experience as MA in a Clinic/Office is preferred,
Cardiology Technician, HVI- Mercy
PA or CRNP (ACNP), Staff or Senior - HVI Thoracic Surgery - UPMC Presbyterian
