The LPN assists with patient care services as delegated by providers within a clinic setting. They collaborate with clinical staff, patients, and families while adhering to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing scope of practice.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program or have completed licensure requirements. A current Mississippi state license or temporary permit is required.
Under the supervision of the Provider(s) in the clinic, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting with patient care services as delegated or assigned; and will function within the scope of practice according to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. The LPN collaborates with all clinical staff, patients, and their families.
