The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct resident care and treatment as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include maintaining compliant documentation, educating families on home exercise programs, and facilitating the ordering of adaptive medical equipment.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program and a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Proficiency in Net Health and Point Click Care software is required, along with the physical ability to lift and move residents.
