Assist Patient Care Associates and Nurses with the active and passive mobilization of patients across various age groups. Work under the guidance of a primary care RN to support patient movement and recovery.
To assist Patient Care Associates and Nurses with passive and active mobilization of patients under the guidance of primary care RN with a variety of age groups. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: No previous experience required. SPECIAL SKILLS: Individual willing to learn and be able to work with patients. Current BLS Certification. Keyboard Skills. Meditech expertise. Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment related to fluctuating patient needs. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, family members, nursing staff, rehab staff, case management and other multidisciplinary team members. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities. Ability to effectively problem-solve.
