Position Title\nPhlebotomist, Per Diem \nJob Description\nPurpose & Scope:\nThe major duty of this position is the collection of blood specimens for Laboratory testing. The majority of patients drawn are inpatients but the staff is cross-trained to assist in other areas. In addition to phlebotomy some computer work is required.\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience:\nOne year of healthcare/ medical - phlebotomy experience is required.\nOne year of hospital experience is preferred.\nComputer experience is preferred.\nCertification/Licensure:\nNone.
