Provide clinical and surgical orthopedic coverage, including total joint replacements and trauma care. Responsibilities include post-operative rounding, emergency department consults, and managing orthopedic disorders.
Candidates must hold an active Iowa license and be Board Certified. A clean background check and NPDB report are required, along with availability for specific date blocks.
Provide inpatient rounding on post-op patients, inpatient and ED consults, and OR procedures Perform clinical and surgical duties including total joint replacements, hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgeries Manage trauma and orthopedic call coverage (24-hour call) Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs) Conduct follow-up clinic visits for post-operative patients
