The technician is responsible for preparing and administering medications and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic CT studies. Key duties include reviewing patient history, positioning patients, and ensuring the quality of imaging results.
Candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree from a Nuclear Medicine program and a current Radiation Operator Certificate. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and BLS certification are required.
