The Medical Assistant supports physicians in the examination and treatment of patients by obtaining vital signs and recording patient data. They also manage clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and coordinating prescriptions and referrals.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and have completed a medical assistant program or possess one year of clinical experience. BLS certification and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and electronic health records are required.
