Deliver professional respiratory care, including therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and emergency airway management. Responsible for patient documentation in EMR and maintaining clean, organized work areas and equipment.
Requires an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Care and current RRT licensure from the Texas Medical Board and NBRC. Must hold or obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
This position is responsible for the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, emergency airway/respiratory management, documentation of the procedures performed and their effect, cleaning and performing user service on equipment, preparation of all departmental paperwork, entering and retrieving patient information from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and maintain the work area in a clean organized manner.
