Assist healthcare providers in examining and treating patients by performing clinical tasks such as administering injections, collecting lab specimens, and operating EKG equipment. Handle administrative duties including patient registration, scheduling, and maintaining medical records.
Requires a high school diploma and successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program with a current national certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, NAHP, or MedCA). Current CPR certification is required, and one year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
