Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Rehab

Where You Will Work

Cardiac Rehab team consists of both RNs and Exercise Physiologists, who essentially perform the same role by following patients throughout their therapy and care plans.

They lead exercise classes of 10–15 patients and may have multiple classes running simultaneously.

The program includes three phases.

This facility focuses strictly on cardiac rehab, with no pulmonary services offered.

All class participants are monitored via telemetry; Staff are required to complete telemetry training.

The rehab operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with individual staff schedules depending on the classes they teach.

There are no weekend or holiday shifts.

We’re Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
