About the role

The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients. Additionally, they provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing while maintaining all necessary equipment.

Overview We are looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Experience

Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred. Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice respiratory care in the state and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. A high school diploma is required, though an associate degree and one year of clinical experience are preferred.
