Perform highly skilled ophthalmic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases. Responsibilities include direct patient care, image processing, and the creation of educational and scientific presentations.
Requires a high school diploma and the ability to obtain OCT-C and BLS certifications. Preferred candidates have one year of experience in retinal angiography or optical coherence tomography.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Certified Optical Coherence Tomographers (OCT-C) Certification through the Ophthalmic Photographer’s Society (OPS) Board of Certification within three years of hire. 3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. One (1) year of Retinal Angiography or Optical Coherence Tomography experience. Provide assistance in creation of educational posters, scientific posters/presentations, lectures, clinical trials reports and provision of imaging services as directed and necessary 6. ARVO support as directed 7. Quarterly/Annual Ophthalmic CME course presentations 8. Residents Day preparations 9. Layout and design of educational materials as directed 10.
