2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27705 The Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Unit, located in Duke Central Tower at Duke University Hospital, is a 19-bed specialized unit caring for infants through young adults with congenital heart disease, cardiac transplant needs, and complex medical conditions, including tracheostomy and ventilator dependence.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3. New graduate nurses will complete a 16-week paid orientation, monthly Nurse Residency classes, and completion of a unit-focused project.
Assistance: Relocation is offered to employees relocating from a permanent residence located at least 50 miles from Duke University Hospital.

How you will make an impact Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing plans of care, and established policies and procedures.
