Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview US Anesthesia Partners - Central Texas is seeking an RN Block Nurse to join our team! Job Highlights The ideal candidate for this position will be compassionate, caring and experienced in developing/implementing the plan of care for each patient, making recommendations for patient interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver care and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

Patient Education: Pre and post-op education for patient and family regarding the peripheral nerve block. Nerve block assistance: Under direct supervision, administer sedation if needed and assist with placement of nerve block/catheter by pushing local anesthetic and holding ultrasound probe in place. Pain Management: Via patient rounds and/or follow-up calls, assess effectiveness of nerve block to determine patient's comfort and coordinate with an anesthesiologist any changes to medication regimen/catheter settings that may be needed. Chart Reviews: Transfer patient information from hospital EMR records to USAP EMR. USAP Central Texas Austin is focused on delivering the highest quality patient care with an incredible team of over 200 CRNAs and 110 Anesthesiologists.
