The RN manages the nursing process for Cardiac Catherization Lab patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and care plan implementation. They are also responsible for maintaining the environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree and a valid Florida Registered Nurse License. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, along with proficiency in English.
Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.
