The Phlebotomist at Larkin Community Hospital (LCH) plays a critical role in the healthcare delivery process by performing blood collection procedures with precision and care.

The Phlebotomist will interact directly with patients, providing a compassionate and professional experience to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation.

Ultimately, the Phlebotomist contributes to the overall quality of patient care by facilitating timely and reliable laboratory results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of standard infection control practices and safety procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
