Responsible for observing cardiac monitors to identify and interpret EKG rhythms and dysrhythmias. Accurately reports these findings to the nursing staff to assist in patient care delivery.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a technical cardiovascular program and monitor technician certification. One year of experience as a monitor technician is preferred.
