The Radiology Technologist utilizes ionizing radiation equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs according to clinic protocols. Responsibilities include operating fluoroscopic and digital radiographic equipment and managing data via RIS and PACS systems.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology school, and hold BLS certification. ARRT(R) and MRT-General certification are required or must be attained within one year of eligibility.

High School diploma or equivalent Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board Employee must attain ARRT(R) and MRT-General Certificate Status within one year of eligibility OR ARRT (R) Eligible for ARRT (R) registry MRT-General Certificate BLS certification through American Heart Association Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Associate in applied science-Radiology Technology 1+ years clinical Radiology Technologist experience PACS and RIS experience Bilingual or multi-lingual
