An active, unencumbered Speech-Language Pathologist license in South Carolina is required. Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting and familiarity with PointClickCare are preferred.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, individualized care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy services for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and care team members Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning Conduct staff training and in-service education Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and assist with restorative program training as needed Qualifications Active, unencumbered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina (required) Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Passion for improving resident quality of life Why Join Reedy River Post Acute?
