Job description

Are you ready to be a part of breakthrough research?\n\nThe Research Lab Assistant I (RLA-I) performs lab cleaning and maintenance\nduties including washing and sterilizing glassware, operates autoclaves and\nother specialized equipment, and utilizing special detergents or other cleaning\nagents. Assists in ordering and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory.\nPerforms other lab cleaning and maintenance as required. May participate in\nresearch studies and perform basic lab techniques under the guidance of the PI.\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n * Performs lab cleaning and maintenance duties, including washing and\n sterilizing glassware, and operating autoclaves and other specialized\n equipment.\n * Assists in ordering and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory.\n * Assists in maintaining laboratory and laboratory equipment record keeping.\n * May report to Lab Supervisor or Research Associate III.\n * May assist Research Lab Assistant II.\n * Performs other duties as required.
