Performs accurate molecular testing, reports results timely, and maintains laboratory equipment and quality control standards. Responsibilities include preparing samples, notifying caregivers of critical results, and assisting with staff training and compliance.
Requires a degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science with certification from ASCP or AMT. Candidates must be proficient in biological science, chemistry, and mathematics, or be a recent graduate eligible for national board exams.
Role is specific to Molecular Testing - infectious ampilfication molecular assays and immunophenotyping. Some flexibility in shift start/end.
