About the role

Prepare patients for radiological procedures and obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs. Maintain radiology equipment and ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations.

Position Summary

Busy orthopedic practice looking for qualified X-ray Technicians to join our team. An ideal candidate is a courteous, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, team player with previous orthopedic experience. Position Responsibilities: Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program and holds valid license. Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, processes, and procedures Ability to use sound logic and professional judgment and act calmly during emergencies. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally. Knowledge of digital imaging Knowledge of electronic health records (eClinicalWorks & Epic preferred) Job Types: Per diem Pay: up to $42.00 per hour with experience Schedule: As Needed Medical Specialty: Orthopedics Work Location: In person

Requirements

Must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program with a valid license. Requires knowledge of digital imaging, electronic health records, and medical terminology.
