Major function

Examines, evaluates and diagnoses impairments, functional limitations and disabilities. Develops and carries out the plan of care including education of patient /client. Directs and supervises support personnel in Physical Therapy services.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Graduate from a program in Physical Therapy, which has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Holds one of the following degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Acute Care and/or Outpatient experience preferred. Certification/Licensure: Must maintain current license in the State of NJ to practice Physical Therapy. Current BLS (American Heart Association) preferred or required within 60 days of being hired into the position, required. Certification in area of specialty preferred.
