The Physical Therapy Assistant implements therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and independence under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. They are responsible for monitoring patient progress, providing education, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment and a BCLS certification. Zero to one year of experience in a physical therapy setting is required.
The Physical Therapy Assistant administers therapeutic techniques and interventions designed to improve, maintain, or restore function for individuals affected by age, injury, disease, or congenital conditions. This role focuses on providing safe, effective, and evidence-based therapy services to support patient recovery and independence.
