Requires a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD and a valid license from the OK State Board of Pharmacy. Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time equivalent experience in pharmacy services within a health system.
Job Summary Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. Contribute to the educational goals of the department. Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
Annual memberships in the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are strongly encouraged. Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care
