Market context
In North Carolina acute hospitals, Cath Lab Technician roles are typically driven by ongoing cardiovascular procedure volume and the need for certified imaging or invasive cardiovascular support staff. These positions are competitive because employers often look for an Associate’s degree, current ARRT or RCIS certification, BLS, and the ability to obtain ACLS soon after hire.
