Requires a Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution and a current New Hampshire pharmacy license. Five years of health system pharmacy experience and board certification are preferred.

About Elliot Pharmacy Elliot Pharmacy provides high-quality and personal prescription services to patients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, including those whose providers are outside the Elliot network. We offer a variety of value-added services, including vaccinations, adherence packaging, meds-to-beds, shipping, and non-hazardous compounding. In addition, we are a designated specialty pharmacy with access to many hard-to-find medications. Our pharmacists, technicians and front-store team are committed to building long-term collaborative relationships with our patients and helping them become and stay well. About the Job Provides centralized medication access support for Elliot Health System patients. What You’ll Do Interprets physicians’ prescriptions and creates orders, accesses, inputs and retrieves prescription information from the electronic medical record and provides next steps for patient access. Consults with patients, physicians and clinic office staff regarding access to and use of medications. Conducts quality assurance and drug utilization reviews. Interprets, reviews and submits requests for prescription prior authorization. Coordinates medication patient assistance programs and low-cost alternatives for patients. Provides medication counseling to patients. Provides In-service education and other educational services upon request to Elliot Physician Practices, staff and patients. Responsible for the direct supervision and oversight of pharmacy technicians. Education and Experience Needs Degree in Pharmacy from an institution accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education. Current New Hampshire license to practice Pharmacy; Board Certification preferred. Five years of previous health system pharmacy experience preferred.
