• What you will do: Provides direct occupational therapy services to patients. Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals. Evaluates patients in the areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills and cognition/perception in order to develop and implement treatment plans and goals. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care. Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy. Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.

• License: Authorization from the NCBOT to take examination Proof of scheduled exam date Letter of Authorization stating the applicant may practice work without their license under supervision Illinois Occupational Therapist license within 90 days of hire Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification
