Requires ARDMS certification, CPR certification, and 1-2 years of experience as a Sonographer. A B.S. degree and RVT certification are preferred, along with experience in venous insufficiency and reflux studies.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by interpreting physician.
ARDMS mandatory, RVT preferred. CPR certification required. B.S. Degree preferred.
1-2 years as a Sonographer required. Experience in venous insufficiency, reflux studies and Venus ablative interventions preferred.
Ability to function under pressure of time demands. Position requires eye-hand and gross body coordination skills; extensive walking. Position requires the ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions and attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time. Individuals must be able to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts and remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time.
