About danville, virginia
Located in southern Virginia near the North Carolina border, Danville offers an affordable cost of living, a growing downtown River District, outdoor recreation along the Dan River, and easy access to larger metropolitan areas including Greensboro, Raleigh, and Richmond. The area provides a welcoming small-town feel with access to modern amenities, making it attractive for professionals seeking work-life balance.
The primary purpose and function of the Associate Veterinarian is to provide the highest quality of veterinary care and exceptional client service. The Associate Veterinarian advocates for pets and their quality of life; builds a long term bonding relationship with clients; contributes to the development and maintenance of the human-pet bond; and educates clients on all aspects of pet health. This role partners with the Practice Manager as a driving force in support of a positive, high-performing culture that aligns with VetEvolve’s guiding principles of Care First, Better Together, Grow Forward, and Own It.
This practice tends to appeal particularly well to veterinarians who enjoy building client relationships, practicing high-quality medicine, and working in a supportive team environment rather than a high-volume corporate setting.
