Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams in the operating room while ensuring radiation safety and precise digital documentation. Coordinate OR procedures and serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students.
Requires completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program and at least one year of experience in an operating room. Must hold an active NYS Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.
$30.00 – $46.62/ hour (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)
The radiologic technologist will work directly with the radiologist, surgeons and nurses to perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures that require judgment, ingenuity and radiation protection practices, while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs. This position also provides a lead role for the coordination of procedures performed in the operating room services.
