Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary spine, pain, and neuroscience practice in Northeast Florida. Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and nervous system
Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing management of neurological conditions
Order and interpret neurological testing, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions appropriate for neurological disorders
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
Collaborate with pain management, spine, orthopedic, and rehabilitation specialists to coordinate care
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care strategies
Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in neurology and neuroscience care
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for or currently holding an active Florida medical license
Experience managing neurological and neuromuscular disorders preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
