Main function
Under supervision and direction of the operating surgeon, functions during the assistant role until conclusion of the operative procedure. Does not concurrently function as scrub nurse. When not working as a RNFA, works as scrub or circulating nurse as directed.

Current CNOR certification, completion of an RNFA program, certification by an accredited AORN program as a RNFA

Main function
The RN focuses on all facets of perinatal care. Women’s Pavilion employees care for patients and their families during the antepartal, intrapartal and pospartal periods, taking in to consideration their age, growth, developmental and emotional needs.

NRP required within one year of hire and must be maintained
Attend STABLE (post resuscitation program) at first opportunity when offered by WCH and must be maintained
