Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental or behavioral health needs
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Support individuals in developing communication, social, and life skills
Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence
Follow individualized care plans and document services in compliance with California regulations and agency standards
Collaborate with team members to support overall health, safety, and well-being
Qualifications
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Minimum of 6 months of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including experience supporting behavioral health or behavioral services
Ability to pass required background checks and meet all California hiring and compliance requirements
Preferred
Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, or Direct Care Worker
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Certification Requirements

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification – Required within 12 months of hire.
