Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our wound team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position rotating through different areas of inpatient care including general med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU as well as both outpatient and inpatient wound care. Interest or experience in acute care management of vertigo or lymphedema welcomed. Optional rotation available in outpatient neuro if interested. Previous experience in acute care setting strongly preferred. Interest or experience in wound care preferred but not required; additional training/mentoring provided. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: 0.8 FTE Schedule consists of four 8 hr days per week. Every 4th weekend (with days off when working weekend), and one holiday per year. Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Recommend membership in related professional organization. Proficient with communication and data processing equipment. Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise. Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
