• Category: Admin - ClericalMedical Administrative Assistants support the North Carolina Army National Guard (NCARNG) at various locations by maintaining medical and dental records in accordance with Army Regulations and adhering to proper HIPAA laws for medical record organization and management. Works in direct support of an assigned Registered Nurse Case Manager, and assists other team members when workloads fluctuate. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of North Carolina's National Guard Soldiers.
• Your responsibilities will include: Create, maintain, and process comprehensive electronic medical and dental records for incoming, current, and departing Soldiers. Track the progress of servicemembers throughout their medical journey, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Provide essential administrative support for medical readiness events, including occasional weekend and travel requirements. Foster strong relationships with Soldiers, medical facilities, and personnel to facilitate seamless communication and documentation processes. Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on medical records, identifying and resolving discrepancies within regulatory timelines. Safeguard sensitive medical information by adhering to strict security protocols and accessing rights.

Salary

From $20.00.96 to $21.54 per hour, based on experience.
