The role involves managing the archive records retention and retrieval system by filing, scanning, and extracting data from electronic and paper health records. Additionally, the technician handles record requests, subpoenas, and coordinates paperwork from outside facilities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a medical office setting. Proficiency in EMR systems, medical terminology, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality are required.
