• Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during a full range of dental procedures, with emphasis on surgical procedures Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment rooms to exacting standards Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment with meticulous attention to detail Take and process dental radiographs and diagnostic images Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and understanding Assist with patient education regarding biologic and holistic treatment approaches Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Support phlebotomy procedures as needed for biologic testing and therapies Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with the clinical team Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards Required Qualifications Current Dental Assistant certification/license as required by Oregon state regulations Proven experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting Current CPR/BLS certification Strong understanding of infection control and OSHA standards Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, compassionate bedside manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to anticipate needs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Surgical assisting experience strongly preferred Background or demonstrated interest in biologic, holistic, or integrative dentistry Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain certification Experience with advanced dental technologies and digital workflows Knowledge of biocompatible materials and their applications Familiarity with systemic health connections to oral health
