About the role

The Lead Cardiovascular IR Technologist performs various technical and patient care services related to invasive cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room, assisting during procedures, monitoring patient status, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Our new Cardiovascular Interventional suite offers the complete integration of leading-edge imaging and technology to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease and other conditions using minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures.

Our ‘Suite” team consists of expert Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Radiology technologists and Registered Nurses collaborating to provide innovative personalized care to our community.

Performs a variety of services to Cardiovascular IR Suite patients including technical and patient care as they relate to Invasive Cardiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cardiovascular IR Technologist provides non clinical operational oversight related to radiation safety, imaging systems, equipmentmanagement, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures the department meets all safety, accreditation, and state licensing requirements whilesupporting efficient operational workflows.Provides day to day clinical leadership for the radiologic technologists within the cardiovascular IR suite. Ensures clinical excellence, staff competency,safe patient care, and seamless procedural support while serving as a primary clinical resource for physicians and staff.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent required Graduate of an approved school of Radiology Current cardiac catheterization experience of 1-2 years required or equivalent combination of relevant education or experience. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range. Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable. The benefits outlined also reflect CSHS’ policy at the time of posting. Benefits as are made available to other similarly situated team members of CSHS, although participation is at all times in accordance with and subject to the eligibility and other provisions of such plans and programs. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and graduate from an approved technology program. A current state license, ARRT certification, and 1-2 years of cardiac catheterization experience are required.
