Responsibilities

Perform radiology procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging results Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians and patients Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology Assist in the training and mentorship of medical staff and residents Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Requirements

Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Board certification in Radiology Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in imaging modalities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Prior experience in a similar role is preferred Level I trauma center

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Weeknight and weekend call

Patient Ages: Pediatric

Case Volume: 80-100 per day

Case Types: Plain films, ultrasounds, CT, and MRs; no neuro

PACS: Visage

Dictation: PowerScribe

Work List: Workflow Orchestrated

Board certification required
