The nurse is responsible for performing patient assessments, establishing IV access, and administering infusions and injections. Additionally, they manage the infusion suite's cleanliness, maintain medication inventory, and educate patients on treatments.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a current MA license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Proficiency in peripheral IV skills is required, while infusion experience and bilingual abilities are preferred.

We are opening a new location in Dedham and Westborough, MA and are looking for an exceptional nurse with both excellent clinical skills and interpersonal skills. Infusion related experience is not required; however, the candidate must be proficient at placing peripheral IV catheters. Experience accessing ports is a plus but not required. This position will be per diem position.
Complete general patient assessment and obtain vital signs Establish IV access per policy Prepare, administer and document infusions/injections per order from the physician Monitor for infusion related reactions. Follow infusion reaction protocol and notify physicians if any concerns for infusion related reactions Educate patients and caregivers on treatments and associated side effects Open and close infusion suite using daily log, ensuring proper cleanliness, sterilization and infection control Send follow up to ordering physicians regarding patient's status and infusion experience Assist medical assistant in managing and maintaining adequate supply and medication inventory Schedule patients for follow up appointments
Education/qualification requirements: Registered Nurse with current MA license Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years nursing experience. Infusion experience highly preferred. Proficient peripheral IV skills required Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work in a team focused environment High level of professionalism Bilingual is a plus
