Practice for this role

About the role

Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care. Supervise COTAs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care.

  • Evaluating Pediatric Occupational Therapist Outpatient Clinic
  • Oklahoma City, OK
  • Flexible Part-Time
  • $26,000/year Are you an experienced OTR looking for meaningful clinical work that fits around your life…not the other way around? Therapitas is seeking a skilled evaluator to join our Oklahoma City team in a role built differently from the ground up: designed to be high-impact for a few focused hours each week, with compensation structured to reflect your value and expertise. Therapitas has served Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2015 with one mission: ensuring Spanish-speaking children have the same access to quality therapy as any other child. We’re a growing, multidisciplinary pediatric clinic with locations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. We’re hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City. We provide trained interpreter support, so Spanish fluency is not required.

What We Offer

💲Compensation: up to $26,000/year 📄Commitment: 3 evaluations/week, supervision of 2 COTAs ⌚Time Investment: 4.5 hours/week scheduled in clinic; documentation and supervision tasks when and where it works for you 📅 Set your own schedule to work the hours that fit your life. What Makes this Role Different? We know that not every great OTR is interested in a traditional schedule. This role was designed for the therapist who is passionate about the clinical work itself — the puzzle of an evaluation, the satisfaction of collaboration and mentorship, the connection and impact — without being tied down to the caseload that usually comes with it. Evals only. No treatment sessions. Your time at the clinic is streamlined to focus entirely on evaluations. You won't be managing paperwork solo. Intake forms are managed by our support staff using discipline-specific forms to collect foundational information, easing the caregiver interview burden and letting you focus on what matters most to families. All assessment tools, protocols, and testing materials are provided. We stock and maintain what you need. Flexible, hands-off scheduling. You set your availability, we take care of the rest. Competitive per-eval compensation plus a flat weekly supervision rider. Designed to deliver strong earnings relative to hours worked structured to reward focused, expert-level work.

What You’ll Do ✔️ Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients. ✔️ Document high-quality evaluation reports in our easy-to-use EMR to meet payer standards, providing sufficient information to implement individualized, evidence-based intervention and provide excellent occupational therapy services. ✔️ Support treatment plan adjustment decisions based on patient progress and clinical presentation. ✔️ Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care. ✔️ Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Why Join Therapitas?

Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a team that expands access to care and makes a meaningful difference for children and families.

A Team That Has Your Back: Our Clinical Directors, Director of Occupational Therapy, and support staff are hands-on.

You won't be left to figure things out alone.

Efficient Intake Process: We've intentionally built the intake workflow to reduce administrative burden on evaluating clinicians.

You focus on what matters most.

Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced OTs, PTs, SLPs, and support staff who value teamwork, growth, and excellent care.

Our Caseloads You’ll see mostly toddlers and school-age children, with some infants and adolescents.

Patients may range from 2 weeks to 20 years old.

Common diagnoses include developmental delay, sensory processing challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other genetic or neurological conditions.

What We’re Looking For ✅ Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or expected graduation) ✅ Oklahoma OT license or eligibility to obtain ✅ Form 5 availability for COTA supervision ✅ Experience conducting occupational therapy evaluations; outpatient pediatric experience preferred. ✅ Passion for working with children and families ✅ Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset ✅ Mission-driven approach to care ✅ Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required Join a team where your skills, growth, and passion make a difference!
