The Medical Assistant II serves as a liaison between patients, families, and providers to coordinate patient flow and clinical data collection. They are responsible for performing clinical procedures and entering pertinent patient history into medical records.
Requires at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant and a valid MA certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA). Candidates must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire and be able to travel to other locations.
Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant II (Primary Care, St. Cloud), FULL-TIME, to join our Primary Care team in St. Cloud, Florida.
The MA II is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members. The MA II is responsible for coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record. The MA II performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional/department responsibilities as directed by the provider and per protocol.

With 20 primary care and three urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.
